Words From Our Superior

The Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres were founded in 1696 in Levesville, France to serve among the poor. We are an international community serving around the world with an option for working in a mission country. As District Superior for the United States of America, I welcome you to our website. I share with you our Direction Statement because I feel that it says what I experience daily with the women who share their lives with me.

"We, Sisters of St. Paul, are joyful, creative women, passionately on fire with God's Love. Animated by hope, characterized by tranquil daring, we see God in each other, the larger community and creation. Freed through the Gospel, we risk to be for others."

Since I am deeply in love with God, who is the center of my life, I am thankful for the gift of my vocation. I invite you to learn more about us. In prayer I ask God to bless all those who visit this site. May you deepen in your life the ability to hear God's voice within you and then find the grace to follow faithfully in love.
