Morning Offering

 

O loving God, Creator and giver of the day

we offer you today our prayers and works

our sufferings and joys, in union with

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph,

Paul and our founders,

and all the members of the Paulinian Family.

We pray for the needs of our world,

our world leaders,

our Church and our Church leaders.

We pray for each Paulinian Sister

and the needs of the District.

We remember our Friends of St. Paul,

our families, our benefactors,

and all for whom we have promised to pray.

Grant us the virtues of poverty, chastity,

and obedience

and a spirit of tranquil daring, ecumenism,

adoration, and thanksgiving.

Vocation Prayer for the Sisters of St. Paul

Loving God, we thank you for the call in our lives to follow you as Sisters of St. Paul. Send us women who desire to join us in living our Christocentric spirituality; women who are joyful, creative, and passionately on fire with your love. May our living in hope and tranquil daring inspire them to live in the fullness of the Paschal mystery. May we grow in our ability to see God in each other, the larger community, and creation and thus enable others to do the same. Freed through the Gospel, may we and other women who join us, be willing to risk to be for others. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
